We are trying to name our newborn baby girl. It appears that the most appropriate letter to start with is "J"; Ideally "Ja". I prefer a name that is not very common and with some nice meaning to it. Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks friends! I'm taking in all your suggestions and creating a list. Will go thru it with my missis before choosing one. Till then I guess she will be called "Nangi". ;-)
We finally have something... and just about time too. Apparently the name must be registered here in Sri Lanka within 42 days.
From "Ja" we have a strong inclination towards "Jayandi". We were also told letter "O" is good. So we have chosen "Oneli" as one of the names.
So she will be called something like "Oneli Jayandi Gunapala"... that is at least until she turns 15 and go all rebellious on us and changes her name to “Squirrel” or something like that.

Janithri

Not very good with meanings. You'd notice that neither sanesh nor i have meanings to our names. We just give meaning to it, by the way we live. ;-)
Anyway...
Jayene (like an extension to Jane)
Jareen
Janika
If you find any meanings to the above..well good for you. :)
how about:
Januri
Jayani
Congrats on the new arrival!
